What Is A Screenshot?

A screenshot is a digital image of your computer screen. It can be used for a variety of different reasons. It can be used for proof of something that you saw or shared online. It can be used for instructional purposes, or it can be used for creative purposes. There are many different uses for a screenshot, and it is one of the basics that every computer user should be familiar with. For Samsung laptop users, taking a screenshot is an easy way to store important information on your screen or share something with others.

The Shortcut Method

  1. Press the ‘Fn’ key and a small arrow will appear on the screen. This is called the function key, or F1.
  2. You can now press the F1 key to take a screenshot of your computer screen.
  3. A screenshot will be saved in the same folder where you took it from, but you can then move it to another folder if you desire. To do this, navigate to where you saved your screenshot and drag it to your desired location on your computer’s hard drive. This can be done by right-clicking on the screenshot and selecting “copy”. Then click again and select “paste”. This copies the image from where you took it to where it was originally saved (in this case, your Desktop).
  4. Now you can either share this screenshot with the world or keep it to yourself. To share it, click on the file and select “share”. This will open up a new window where you can choose who you want to share with. You can also email it to yourself or copy and paste it into your word processor or another program, which will allow you to edit the image before sharing it.
  5. To keep it private, you can also go to the file and select “save as”. This will allow you to save the screenshot as a file with a different name, or in a specific place on your computer. Most programs will allow you to choose between a number of different formats, including JPG and PNG. You can also create some text and/or draw on your picture before saving it as an image.
  6. If you want to use the image for educational purposes, or if you are using it for any other reason that does not pertain to business or social reasons, then you can delete it from your hard drive without worrying about compromising anything that is confidential.
